Below you'll find a selection of equipment that can help make your self-tapes shine. Do you need to buy all of it? ABSOLUTELY NOT. (Unless you don't have a tripod, that's a necessity). Great self-tapes can be filmed with just your phone, a tripod, and a blank wall in a relatively neutral color as long as the lighting is good.
But if you're worried that your self-tapes aren't coming across the way you'd like, then take a look below. We've used everything you see below at various times, and it's worked out well.
